Object Name Marble
Date 1864-1900
Description Red, orange, and yellow glass marble found in the parlor of 607 Grove Street during archaeological excavation. This type of marble is known as a Butterscotch swirl. There is a point where all the bands come together on opposite poles of the marble. There is a small circular space at these poles where the clear interior of the marble can be seen. The banded pattern also has one black band.
