Object Name Zambomba
Description Ceramic pot and stick (part B): Handles on each side and a leather cover on top; Stick is stuck through the top of the leather cover, where there is a hole; "B" is a thin wooden rod of light blonde wood with a thick white string tightly wound on about 2/5 of the stick, long tail ends of both sides of the string are tied at top; "A" is the pot which has the leather on top; the leather cover on "A" covers the entire top except for the hole in which the stick runs through; the hole is re-enforced with a small leather circle around it; the leather goes over the top of a lip on the side of the pot and is secured by adhesive and a brown string around the edge; the edge of the leather has been turned up to see the underside and some tufts of hair are still attached; the pot itself is two- toned with the top portion being dark brown and glazed with looped handles on both sides; the bottom half is tan and unglazed, slopes down almost like an egg to a small lipped out stand.
